The launch of Riga Photography Biennial 2016 will take place from 14 – 24 April, with the Biennial continuing for several months afterwards

On the first week of November in the Slovak capital of Bratislava the photography festival Mesiac Fotografie 2015 will take place.

In 2015 Latvia is represented by Ieva Epnere, Andrejs Strokins, Viktorija Eksta and the curator Inga Brūvere brought to the festival by Riga Photography Biennial.

At 6pm on 21st May, the Latvian Museum of Photography in collaboration with the Riga Photography Biennial is commencing a new series of discussions about the description, interpretation and evaluation criteria of photography and photographic exhibitions.

Riga Photography Biennial has been invited to participate in the festival from Latvia, and will be represented by Inga Bruvere (Latvia) and Marie Sjøvold (Norway). Marie Sjøvold’s exhibition, Midnight milk, (2011) will also be on view as part of the festival.
